I’m staying in the Sherry Oak room at the Macallan Estate

Wow.. What an amazing estate and its only my first day here.  So far I’ve had the basic tour and tomorrow is the precious spirits tour.  The estate is located in a stunning location on the River Spey and I’m going to be given a tour of the grounds tomorrow.  I had no idea you could come up to the estate to fish.  They even had their own Ghillie.  This evening is a lovely dinner at Easter Elchies house (pictured) and some whisky sampling of the core range.  If there is a heaven I’m sure its fairly close to this.  God bless the Macallan. 🙂
